Every year, you can discover during the beginning of march or like this year, from the end of February, along the “Franz Schütte Allee” in Bremen many crocuses. They bloom and were planted because of an initiative called “1 million crocuses for Oberneuland” by the Oberneuland Magazin. This is a magazine, who write much about a specific district of the German city Bremen.
As soon as the crocuses bloom there, I like to stop by the Franz Schütte Allee in Bremen. If I can, I also try to visit this avenue during sunset or golden hour. Especially because to get a beautiful golden bokeh in my macro images. Compared with the purple color of the crocuses, this makes a colourful picture.
If you drive towards the city centre, Franz Schütte Allee then turns into Richard Boljahn Allee. There you can also discover flowers opposite the Mix Market. Several species, in fact. Crocuses, of course, but also daffodils.
I visited this place this year the first time and I can say, that this one is absolutely not the most amazing place in Bremen, but, if you are a macro photographer like me, then it is still worth a look.
I hope you enjoyed this article. If so, I would be glad, if you would share, like or comment under this post. Thank you!
